Cabin V is a cozy two-bedroom hand-hewn log cabin nestled on our 196-acre family farm in Fort Payne, Alabama. Designed for small families or couples, the cabin features a queen bed in one bedroom and a full bed in the second bedroom, plus a comfortable sofa in the living area. Warm log walls, vaulted ceilings, and a stone fireplace with gas logs create a rustic yet comfortable retreat year-round.
The fully equipped kitchen includes plates, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and a full-size range so you can prepare home-cooked meals. A washer and dryer are tucked away for your convenience, and we provide linens, towels and cable TV with a DVD/VCR player for relaxed evenings. Central heat and air conditioning keep the cabin comfortable in any season.
Step out onto the private porch to soak in your own 5-person hot tub, grill dinner on the charcoal BBQ, or gather around the campfire pit under the stars. Cabin V sleeps five guests comfortably and offers all the comforts of home in a quiet woodland setting.

Right outside your door, wander along walking trails through the woods, visit with our herd of goats, cast a line in the spring-fed pond, or simply relax in the rocking chairs and listen to the birds. As night falls, the clear skies over Lookout Mountain offer excellent stargazing from your private hot tub or around the campfire.

Little River Canyon National Preserve is just minutes away and boasts waterfalls, hiking trails, scenic overlooks and opportunities for canoeing and rock climbing.
