Cabin II is a cozy, hand‑hewn log cabin tucked away on our family’s 196‑acre farm outside Fort Payne. This two‑bedroom retreat sleeps five with a queen‑size bed in one room, a full‑size bed in the second, and a comfortable sofa in the living room. Warm log walls, a rock fireplace with gas logs, central heat and air conditioning, and a full bathroom with a washer/dryer provide all the comforts of home.
Prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen complete with plates, glasses, silverware, pots and pans, a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, refrigerator and stove. Step out to the covered back porch and relax in your private five‑person hot tub, fire up the charcoal grill for dinner, or gather around the campfire pit under the stars. Towels and linens are provided, and the cabin offers cable television and a VCR/DVD player.

Just a few miles away, Little River Canyon National Preserve beckons with hiking trails, waterfalls and some of the deepest gorges east of the Mississippi. For all seasons, our nightly rates start at $100 plus tax. A $100 deposit is required to confirm your stay and will be applied toward your balance at check-in. Peace and quiet on the farm! We stayed at Cabin II with our daughter and had everything we needed.
